Terms & Conditions

Last updated: June 12, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of DCManager (dcmanager.org), a business management service for the DemocracyCraft Minecraft server. By accepting these Terms — or by continuing to use DCManager after accepting them — you agree to be bound by them, together with our Privacy Policy.

When we make material changes, you will be asked to review and accept the updated Terms before continuing to use the service. Each acceptance is recorded with its version and timestamp.

2. The Service

DCManager provides employee management, payroll, business banking, and double-entry accounting tools for businesses operating on DemocracyCraft. The service integrates with the DemocracyCraft Treasury to move in-game funds on your instruction.

3. In-Game Currency Only — No Real-World Value

All balances, payments, salaries, and fees in DCManager are denominated in DemocracyCraft’s in-game currency. In-game currency has no real-world monetary value. DCManager never holds, transfers, or accepts real money, and nothing in the service constitutes real-world banking, investment, or financial advice.

4. Eligibility & Your Account

You sign in with your Discord account and may link your Minecraft account by completing an in-game verification payment. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We never ask for your real-life personal information — see the Privacy Policy for exactly what we collect.

5. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • use DCManager in compliance with DemocracyCraft’s laws and server rules, including the Privacy Act’s obligations you owe to your own employees;
  • keep the information you enter accurate and up to date;
  • protect access to your Discord account and any Treasury API keys you connect; and
  • not attempt to access data belonging to businesses you are not a member of, or to probe, disrupt, or overload the service.

6. Business & Employee Data You Enter

Business owners and managers enter information about other players — employee rosters, titles, salaries, and notes. As the party collecting that information, your business is responsible for handling it lawfully: collect it fairly, keep it accurate, and share it only on a need-to-know basis. DCManager provides role-based access controls (see Section 9) to help you meet those obligations, but what you record is your responsibility.

7. Treasury API Authorization

Connecting your business’s Treasury API key authorizes DCManager to, on an ongoing basis until you disconnect:

  • view and access your business’s Treasury account, including its transaction history; and
  • transfer money from your business’s Treasury account into your DCManager account, including automatic sweeps of incoming customer payments so they can be credited to your DCManager wallet.

Your API key is encrypted at rest, is never displayed back to anyone (including you), and is used only server-side for the purposes above. You may revoke this authorization at any time by disconnecting the firm in your business settings, which deletes the stored key.

To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Redmont, DCManager is not liable for any damages arising from this authorization or from transfers performed under it — including damages resulting from Treasury API errors or outages, from sharing your API key with others, or from instructions given by members you have authorized. Nothing in this section limits rights that cannot be excluded under Redmont law, including rights under the Privacy Act.

8. Fees & Subscriptions

Paid tiers are billed monthly in in-game currency from your business’s Operating wallet. If a renewal charge fails, paid features may be suspended until payment succeeds. Fees are listed on the pricing page and may change with notice.

9. Team Roles & Access

Business owners control who joins their business and at what role. Owners, accountants, managers, and viewers all see the business’s financial records — wallets, transactions, payroll history, and accounting reports. Inviting a member at any role makes your business’s books visible to them. Employee records (configured salaries, notes, and change history) are restricted to managers and above. Invite accordingly.

10. Platform Administration

DCManager platform administrators can access business data where necessary to operate the service — for support, billing, fraud prevention, and compliance with DemocracyCraft law or court orders. Administrative access is governed by the Privacy Policy’s need-to-know commitments.

11. Automated Operations

Scheduled jobs (automatic payroll, billing, deposit detection, Treasury sweeps, and reconciliation) run continuously, including during periods where you have not yet accepted an updated version of these Terms. Disable auto-pay or disconnect your firm connection if you want automated activity to stop.

12. Suspension & Termination

We may suspend businesses or accounts that violate these Terms, DemocracyCraft law, or server rules, or that pose a risk to the service or other users. You may stop using DCManager at any time; see the Privacy Policy for how to request deletion of your data.

13. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

DCManager is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the Commonwealth of Redmont, DCManager and its operators are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, lost in-game profits, or losses caused by the DemocracyCraft Treasury, server resets, rule changes, or other events outside our control. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under Redmont law, including liability for breaches of the Privacy Act.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when you accept the updated version, which you will be prompted to do before continuing to use the service.

15. Governing Law & Contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Redmont (DemocracyCraft). Questions, complaints, and requests can be raised with the GemHoldings team via Discord.
